| If you don't crash and burn, you either couldn't handle it or you just were blessed like that. While every time is a learning experience, sometimes that's just for you to learn about something. Praise God for peace when asked in earnest; also, there's the whole perspective of what's more important anyways and time was better spent with those who needed caring anyhow. Only when in the hardest of times do you know those who care the most. I'm glad I can be a tool used by God and Praise Him for He is truly knows what is best for everyone. Plus, I suppose I got to save some money from eating out and having to pay for gas :) | | |
| It culmulated into a fun end of a week. -asleep -no life monday-wednesday -no communication -getting stung by a wasp -ending of a short beginning. I still don't know what i would want. -messy week of eating old food and fast food instead of home cooking -worrying about getting a friend shiv'ed or worse to make only 50 dollars for the ender to not be used for. -sleeping away from home -deviled eggs gone ugly wrong
Although it seems like complaints, it's really just character building. Definitely not ready for any real trama.

| What I learned the last couple of days -Gout feels like a hammer mashing your big toe. On a regular basis. -Gout is another sign that I am definitely my father's son\ -Big toes are important for walking. And jumping, and running, and moving in general on 2 feet -No food and only water = fastest way to lose weight. -I cannot sleep through pain -I will miss the taste of beef, and maybe shellfish -Thankful for loving parents and God

| Starting up this nonsense again, only to neglect it again when I get more absorbed in other things.
I wonder about hindsight being 20/20. What about the people who denied a past that happened? Granted, compared to foresight and presentsight (or would it just be sight?), hindsight might appear to be 20/20. However it feels like hindsight only gives you more what ifs and doubts and 2nd guessing. It is helpful for future events when seemingly similar things happen again (those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it), but other than that, it doesn't make me any more omniscient.
I was taught that reflecting on your actions and what you did is something a teacher should do weekly, if not more often. I think that's a bad idea; everyone should do some more reflecting in general.
I guess you can say this is a step in the right direction; let's just see if I'm man enough to keep walking on this path.
Of course now that I've been reflecting on what I just wrote, it feels like I'm coming off being a total philosophizing d-bag.

| I know what John the Baptist felt like when he heard about Christ, I just hope my head won't end up on a silver platter.
The celebration of your best friend getting married to a great girl, many thoughts come to mind: -A stupifying smile that's glued on your face, not because you're happy, but because you know your friend is very happy and his happiness is contagious. -Long marriage ceremonies means you gotta pity the fools who are part of the wedding party. Apparently you have to pity the bridesmaids and bride the most because of the heels. -Weddings make quite the mess afterwards and cleanup is quite the load. -Surprises aren't just for the bride and groom; they can affect the friends from out of town too. -Rehearsals for weddings are surprisingly effective. Anything that wasn't practiced even once leads to messes on end. -Doing a best man's toast requires a lot of effort -I definitely don't envy wedding planners and the jobs they undertake. -The rate people ask who's getting married next rises 999%
Even though I might complain about all the "hardships", I still think marriage is a wonderful thing. Next time, I'd rather be an usher.
